To answer your questions, yes, he has a picc line and yes, he is still in the hospital. He wasn't sent back to nursing home because he has a blood clot. The nursing home near us won't take him because the care he needs is too expensive. We're trying to get him into other nursing homes, but there's only three nursing homes that qualify to take him. So right now, he's just staying at the hospital.

Trust in God. He knows what is ahead and best for your poppa. Perhaps God knows that it is best for him to remain in the hospital because of something he knows is going to occur and that is the place that they can treat it best and immediately. Sometimes even the best nursing homes miss things because they are short handed. Thank God for the blesssing of keeping the door closed to him being accepted at another nursing home because God knows better than us. Perhaps God will keep him in the hospital until he is ready to go back to the nursing home that your family thinks is best for him. Perhaps God will keep him in the hospital until the nuring home that HE knows is best for him has an opening. I know it is hard for your family, but I know you all trust in the LOrd so continue to give Poppa's care to God and wait for him to open just the right door at just the right time. Not a moment too soon, not a moment too late and the door that is best for Poppa and all of you. LOve and Prayers
