He was doing really well. He went to the nursing home's Christmas party and enjoyed it so much. Then he got a fever but was still alert. He had it for awhile and then they decided to take him to the hospital. He's been doing really good and they're aiming for Friday to send him back to the nursing home. Hope you all had a good Christmas!

Kirstin - thanks for the update, it let's us know how to pray specifically for your grandpa. Our friends who moved to NY said they saw your grandma at the pastor's holiday open house, and she was her perky, friendly self. Let them both know we respect them so much and are continuing to pray.
And thanks for being you - caring for them and updating this blog - you've done a fantastic job!
